Job summary

O&G Industries Inc. is seeking a CNC Stone Fabrication Saw Operator for our Beacon Falls facility. You will operate a state-of-the-art CNC bridge saw to fabricate granite, marble, quartz, and other stones, reading drawings and specs to ensure precise cuts.

You will set up equipment, verify measurements, inspect materials for defects, and work with designers and technicians to deliver high-quality products on schedule. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in stone fabrication.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, dimensions, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized CNC bridge saws and stone fabrication equipment to produce precise cuts.
• Read and interpret drawings, work orders, measurements, and production specs.
• Set up and operate equipment according to job specifications.

CNC Stone Fabrication Saw Operator - Beacon Falls

O&G Industries is seeking a CNC Stone Fabrication Saw Operator to join our Beacon Falls fabrication team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a state-of-the-art CNC bridge saw to fabricate granite, marble, quartz, limestone, bluestone, and other natural and engineered stone products.

Our experienced designers and CNC technicians create custom stone products for a wide range of applications, including countertops, pool surrounds, fireplace surrounds, architectural elements, and custom stone designs.

What You'll Do

• Operate computerized CNC bridge saws and other stone fabrication equipment to produce precise cuts and finished products.
• Read and interpret drawings, work orders, measurements, and production specifications.
• Set up and operate equipment according to job specifications.
• Accurately measure and verify dimensions throughout the fabrication process.
• Inspect stone slabs for cracks, defects, and other material issues before and during production.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify issues requiring adjustment or maintenance.
• Safely move, load, and position stone materials using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Work closely with designers, CNC technicians, and other members of the fabrication team to complete projects accurately and on schedule.
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Perform other fabrication and production duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• At least one year of experience operating CNC machinery; experience with CNC stone fabrication is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, dimensions, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy stone materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods.
