Job summary

O&G Industries Inc. is seeking a CNC Stone Fabrication Saw Operator for our Beacon Falls facility. You will operate a state-of-the-art CNC bridge saw to fabricate granite, marble, quartz, and other stones, reading drawings and specs to ensure precise cuts.

You will set up equipment, verify measurements, inspect materials for defects, and work with designers and technicians to deliver high-quality products on schedule. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in stone fabrication.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, dimensions, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized CNC bridge saws and stone fabrication equipment to produce precise cuts.
• Read and interpret drawings, work orders, measurements, and production specs.
• Set up and operate equipment according to job specifications.
• Accurately measure and verify dimensions during fabrication.
• Inspect slabs for cracks or defects before and during production.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform basic adjustments.
• Safely move, load, and position heavy stone materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform quality checks.
• Collaborate with designers and technicians to complete projects on schedule.
