Job summary

Wabtec in Danielsville, PA is seeking a CNC Shop Supervisor to lead daily production, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety and quality across the shift. You will manage CNC lathe operations, drive on-time delivery, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coaching, training, performance evaluations, and collaboration with maintenance, quality, and other departments to keep production moving and standards high.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading employees and coordinating production activities.
• Experience in CNC programming, operation, and reading blueprints.
• Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use basic computer systems and production-tracking software.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations and assign work.
• Coordinate staffing and monitor workflow.
• Coach employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing training.
• Expedite and prioritize shop orders to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams.
• Maintain production records and shift reports.
