Job summary

WillowWood Global seeks an experienced Machine Shop Manager to lead our precision CNC operations, drive process improvements, and develop a high-performance team. The ideal candidate combines deep CNC know-how with proven leadership and a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will oversee scheduling, tooling, programming, and quality control while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience in a production, job shop, or manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of GD&T for print interpretation and precision measuring tools.
• Proven leadership experience in a machining environment.
• Experience with 5-axis machining and CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily machine shop operations, scheduling, personnel, and workflow to maximize equipment utilization.
• Develop and enforce standardized routing, safety, and quality practices.
• Mentor and develop CNC programmers, setup personnel, and operators.
• Coordinate production planning with engineering and quality to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and lean initiatives across the shop.
