Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking a Machine Shop Team Leader to partner with operations, lead CNC machinists, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met. You will report to the Manufacturing Specialist and drive continuous improvement across tooling, programming, and workflow.

The role emphasizes培训 in CNC techniques, tool handling, and collaboration with engineers and planners to align with organizational goals. Local travel for trainings and occasional trips are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
• 6+ years of CNC machining experience required.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of CNC machinists to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, machining centers) per drawings and specs.
• Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges; ensure tolerances and surface finish.
• Identify and resolve machine performance issues, tooling wear, and programming errors.
• Maintain a safe working environment and provide training on safe machine operation.
