Job summary

Snowline Engineering, a precision CNC machining facility near Sacramento, CA, is hiring a Manufacturing Shop Manager in Cameron Park. This full-time on-site role manages daily production flow across VMC, HMC, multi-axis and lathe operations. Expect 5+ years leading CNC floors; strong ERP/MRP use (JobBoss, E2, Epicor) and GD&T proficiency.

The role focuses on floor leadership, sequencing, staffing, and performance management to ensure on-time delivery for aerospace, defense, and medical customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising or managing a CNC machining floor in aerospace/defense/medical environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of setup vs run time, fixturing constraints, and tool availability.
• Direct experience with ERP/MRP production data (JobBoss, E2, Epicor, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Daily job sequencing and machine loading across VMC, HMC, multi-axis, and lathe departments.
• Shift-to-shift handoff between days and the Mon–Thu night shift.
• Labor allocation and cross-training to cover the schedule.
• WIP status and bottleneck escalation to prevent due-date slips.
• Direct supervision of shop supervisors and leads; manage attendance and performance.
