Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Set Up for our Oak Ridge, TN manufacturing team. This role supports production operations in the Manufacturing Department, focusing on loading and adjusting preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation and quality output.

The ideal candidate has three years of CNC set up experience, can read instructions, understands CAD/CAM, GD&T and SPC, and thrives in a collaborative, safety‑focused environment offering a climate‑controlled workplace and growth

Qualifications

Three (3) years of CNC set up experience.
Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
Intermediate math skills and computer skills.
Ability to learn CAD/CAM programs, G and M codes, GD&T, and SPC.

Responsibilities

Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation.
Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions.
Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results.
Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers.
Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.
