Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Set Up for our Oak Ridge, TN client. You will load and adjust preset CNC programs to ensure machine operation and produce quality parts.

The role requires three years CNC set up experience, reading and following instructions, basic math, and CAD/CAM/GD&T knowledge. Shifts available: 6:00am–2:00pm, 2:00pm–10:00pm, 10:00pm–6:00am, and weekend 6:00am–6:00pm.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years CNC set up experience
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
• Intermediate math skills (algebra, geometry) and computer skills
• Ability to learn CAD/CAM programs, G codes, GD&T, and SPC

Responsibilities

• Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation
• Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions
• Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results
• Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers
• Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance

Our client is seeking a CNC Set Up to join their team. As a CNC Set Up, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Set Up

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $20-24/hr

Shifts available:

6:00am - 2:00pm

2:00pm - 10:00pm

10:00pm - 6:00am

Weekend shift 6:00am - 6:00pm

What's the Job?
