Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up machine tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established quality and safety procedures.
• CNC setup experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare machine tools for production runs.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices.
• Load programs and make necessary machine offsets and adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot setup and machining issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to meet quality and production requirements.
