Job summary

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing test runs, adjusting settings for accurate dimensions, inspecting parts for quality, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality to minimize downtime and keep a safe shop.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting to diagnose CNC equipment and processing issues.
• Preventive maintenance including inspection, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Instrumentation and calibration to verify gauges and machine controls.
• Foundational knowledge of electricity related to machine power and basic electrical safety.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes in manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and gauges; commitment to quality and safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production setting.
