Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in high-volume precision machining, familiarity with lathe tooling and programming, and the ability to train colleagues on machining standards and robot/gantry pickup points.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in high-volume precision machining.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and lathe tooling.
• Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing.
• Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points.
• Knowledge of Nachi robot controls.

Responsibilities

• Recognize tool paths by interpreting the program (G and M codes).
• Machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Train associates on machining standards.
• Troubleshoot daily production problems via root cause analysis.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
