Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a CNC Setup Technician responsible for troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups/change overs for machines. You will recognize tool paths from G/M codes, perform machine set-ups, and train associates on machining standards.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in high volume precision machining, knowledge of various turning/milling processes, and familiarity with Nachi robots.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precision machining environment.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes.
• Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points.
• Knowledge of Nachi robot controls.
