Job summary

Qualifications

1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precision machining environment.
General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming.
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes.
Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points.
Knowledge of Nachi robot controls.

Responsibilities

Interpret G and M codes to recognize tool paths.
Perform machine set-ups and changeovers.
Train associates on machining standards.
Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis as they occur.
Participate in continuous improvement processes and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
