Job summary

Wakefield Thermal is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and inspect first articles for QA verification. The role involves adjusting tooling and fixtures, maintaining precision, and training operators to sustain high-quality production standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Demonstrates precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and inspect first article part on any proven program and turn it in for QA verification at an 80% approval rate.
• Change cutting tools and location of work pieces during machining process.
• Installs cutting tools and various work holding devices to handle stock sizes.
• Operates and adjusts machines until parts conform with specifications and time standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to set-ups during operation to maintain accuracy.
• Train and monitor operators on machine operations and inspection gauges.
