Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a production machine operator at our Alabama facility. The role involves setting up and running CNC and conventional machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring part quality through gauges and inspections.

You will document production activity, move parts through the line, and participate in continuous improvement efforts with the team. A high school diploma and related machining experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines.
• Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
• Change offsets on CNC Machines.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Utilize precision instrumentation and gauges to verify product quality and integrity.
• Move completed parts per standard work processes.
• Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
