Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming code.
• Working knowledge of manual machines including saw, lathe, or mill.
• Proficiency in shop math.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of GD&T principles.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate cnc machining centers in a precision environment.
• Manufacture newly designed parts, including work holding and tooling.
• Program from scratch or modify existing programs.
• Follow detailed work instructions to meet quality and production goals.
• Inspect machined parts with precision tools to ensure accuracy.
• Safely operate machine tools and perform hand operations.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and coolant management.
• Provide guidance on setups and fixtures to other machinists.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of chemicals as applicable.
• Support continuous improvement in quality, safety, and delivery.
