Job summary

Anchor Harvey is seeking a CNC Set-Up Operator to independently run and set up CNC machines for drilling, tapping, reaming, boring and milling. You will prepare tooling, read setup sheets, verify dimensions with dial indicators and calipers, and maintain equipment daily.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior CNC set-up experience, along with strong attention to detail and safety awareness in a heavy-duty environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous CNC set-up operator experience is required.
• Proficiency with CNC machinery, tooling and precision measurement tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines and tooling according to program sheets.
• Prepare tooling and machines for drilling, tapping, reaming, boring and milling.
• Use dial indicators and calipers to verify setups and measurements.
• Read and interpret setup sheets and blueprints to meet specifications.
• Supervise machine operations and adjust speeds/feeds as needed for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance and report issues to supervisor.
