The Dixon Group seeks a skilled CNC Operator in Houston, Texas to set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and mills, ensuring parts meet drawing specifications using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.

You will inspect first-run components with precision instruments, document measurements, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime and scrap while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Dixon Group values veterans and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills; CNC Setup Operator experience required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints; edit G-code/Mazatrol programs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and gauges.

Responsabilités

• Set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and mills.
• Inspect first-run parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges against drawings.
• Ensure tooling and fixtures prepared; minimize downtime, tooling costs, and scrap.
• Collaborate with operators and engineering to resolve dimensional issues.
• Maintain safe operating conditions and accurate process documentation.
