The Dixon Group is seeking a CNC Operator to join our Houston team. You will set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and mills, using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls, ensuring parts meet drawings with minimal downtime.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprints, editing G-code/Mazatrol programs.
• Familiar with Fanuc and Mazak Mazatrol controls.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality.

Aufgaben

• Set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis CNC lathes and mills.
• Prepare machines, load tools, and ensure proper coolant line direction.
• Inspect first-run components using precision measuring instruments.
• Isolate non-conforming materials and identify root causes.
• Verify setup accuracy with second-signature and production readiness.
• Review process sheets and report discrepancies to engineering.
