Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH is seeking a CNC Setup Operator for the 3rd shift in Delray Beach, FL. You will set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers, load tooling, and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications while maintaining efficient production runs.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of CNC experience, be able to read programs, select appropriate tooling, and perform basic quality checks with gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience and/or training in CNC setup/operation.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machining centers and read simple programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and/or milling centers to machine metal and polymer workpieces.
• Read programs, identify errors, and adjust tooling and programs as needed.
• Select workholding, secure workpieces, load cutting tools, and set new tooling to ensure smooth machining.
• Monitor cutting operations and verify parts against blueprints using gauges (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges).
• Complete quality and production documentation and communicate any unusual occurrences to leads.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow all safety procedures.
