Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Connecticut is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator to learn the trade. The role offers hands-on training in turning and milling within a 60,000 sq ft shop, with a strong emphasis on reliability, attendance, and a good work ethic.

Duties include reading blueprints, running CNC turning and manual jobs, setting up mills and lathes, and ensuring quality by measuring and adjusting tools. Shift 7-3:30; pay $22–$25 to start.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring devices.
• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist required (CNC lathes primary, milling or thread rolling a plus).
• Attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Run production CNC turning and manual jobs by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Minor program editing and ability to adjust machine offsets to ensure a quality product
• Sets-up & operate mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings etc.
• Maintains specifications and best in class quality by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Our client is a CNC machine shop that's been in business for over 50 years and is second generation owned. They specialize in offering machining services from their 60,000 sq ft facility in Connecticut.

We are seeking a CNC Operatorto learn the trade. We're open to training as long as employees bring a good attitude, work ethic and attendance to the team.

Duties:
