Sonnax Transmission Company, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, seeks a CNC Setup/Operator to set up and run CNC mills and lathes to print specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting tooling, and ensuring part quality with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify tolerances.
• Read setup docs and tooling sheets for various jobs.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes (Haas/Hardinge/Mitsubishi) to print specs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances for parts.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to meet hourly part targets.
• Perform quality checks and adjust to maintain prints.
• Make offsets/program changes to hold dimensions.
• Care for Sonnax tools/equipment and perform daily PM.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
