Job summary

Lokar is seeking skilled Machinists and Equipment Operators to set up and operate mills and lathes in a clean manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with multiple setups and operators to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow, reporting issues to the Production Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, proficiency with CNC controls, ability to read prints, use calipers and micrometers, understanding of G-Code, and experience on CNC lathes or mills (Haas

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with CNC controls.
• Ability to use common machine shop measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Understanding of lathe/mill tooling and G-Code familiarity.
• Experience on CNC lathes or mills; Haas experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate various machines (lathes, mills, drills; CNC & Manual).
• Read prints thoroughly and ensure quality with inspection tools.
• Complete tasks per work orders and production schedules.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain inventory and production documentation with accuracy.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in cross training (learn and teach tasks).
• Other duties as assigned.
