Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experience.
• Full setup capability with all tools.
• Strong 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling experience.
• Experience with Haas machines and Fanuc controls.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience required.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Skilled with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Must be comfortable working 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups including tools, offsets, fixtures, and verification.
• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Conduct first article and in-process inspections.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machining adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Perform edge-breaking and deburring for safe handling.
• Maintain consistent quality, documentation, and engineering standards.
• Communicate all machining issues, discrepancies, and improvement ideas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company procedures, safety policies, and attendance requirements.

We are seeking a high-level CNC Setup Machinist with full setup capability and a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience on 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC mills. This is a 2nd shift, temp‑to‑hire opportunity in a fast‑paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a skilled setup machinist who takes pride in precision, owns their setups from start to finish, and is ready to step into a shop where 5‑axis machining is becoming the main platform.

What You Will Be Doing
