Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator to support day-to-day production at our remanufacturing facility. The role emphasizes precision machining, tool setup, and safety in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of machining/manufacturing experience, blueprint reading skills, and willingness to overtime or rotate shifts. You will operate and set up CNC equipment, measure parts, align fixtures, and collaborate with engineering to improve

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Machining and/or Manufacturing experience.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Programming skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and reach for 8+ hours.
• Willing to work overtime and as required.
• Communicate and understand work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, height stands, calipers, etc.
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
• Check work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated and cooled.
• Position and fasten work pieces.
• Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency.
• Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.
• Advise clients about the materials being used for finished products.
• Confer with engineering and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
