Job summary

Custom Wire Technologies, Inc. is seeking a CNC Set-up Technician for the 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM) on a full-time basis.

You will set up and operate CNC and related equipment, adjust processes for quality, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams in a regulated medical manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years of CNC set-up experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform basic math.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years of machine set-up experience, CNC preferred.
• Manufacturing experience with mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic measurement.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC and related production equipment
• Adjusting machinery and processes to maintain quality and efficiency
• Reviewing work orders and schedules to meet customer needs
• Performing routine, preventative, and basic corrective maintenance
• Troubleshooting equipment or process issues
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and setup documentation
• Working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams
• Assisting with training and mentoring technicians or production staff
• Following GMPs, SOPs, and all safety and quality requirements
