MAHLE Engine Components US is seeking a Set-up Operator in Russellville, AR to prepare and run production lines. You will study blueprints, select fixtures, set tools, and adjust CNC/PLC machinery to meet tolerances and quality specs.

The role requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience, ability to read English instructions, and proficiency with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with overtime.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and verbalize instructions in English.
• Experience with PLC or CNC operations preferred.
• Ability to use instruments for measuring and identifying defects.

Aufgaben

• Reviews and follows Safety policies and procedures.
• Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, Adcole reports, and CMM reports, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, tools, attachments, locators, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
