Job summary

MultiSource Manufacturing LLC in Minnesota is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and verify quality on Swiss, Lathe or Mill machines, ensuring tight tolerances and efficient production.

You will read drawings, select tooling, adjust machines, and perform in-process inspection while collaborating with team leaders to maintain quality standards. Weekend and 2nd shift options apply, with safety and continuous improvement emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years Vo-Tech in machine tool tech or related area.
• 5–7 years CNC set-up and operating experience in a job shop.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• English language proficiency to understand and follow instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and verify quality on Swiss, Lathe, or Mill CNC machines.
• Perform routine and complex set-ups; troubleshoot as needed.
• Read drawings/specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and attachments; adjust machines to produce conforming parts.
• In-process inspection and complete paperwork; maintain organized workspace.
• Maintain safety and comply with the company quality system.
