Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a CNC Mill & Lathe Setup Machinist in NE Portland, OR for a full-time day or swing shift. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production runs, read blueprints, load materials, and ensure tool changes and offsets are correct.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years CNC experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers. Compensation starts at $25+ per hour DOE, with growth opportunities in a stable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production runs.

What You Need to Have:

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications

The Musts:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience
