Job summary

Voyager Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, loading tools and materials, and running production parts to meet quality standards.

You will read blueprints and setup sheets, verify dimensions with precision measuring tools, and ensure safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities include aligning fixtures, monitoring cycles, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience setting up CNC machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years experience setting up CNC machines
• Ability to read blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail and safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience with specific machine brands Haas, Mori and manual.
• Knowledge of G-code
• Forklift certification (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
