Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Set Up in Oak Ridge, TN to join the manufacturing team. The role involves loading and adjusting preset CNC programs and operating equipment to produce quality parts per work instructions.

Requirements include 3 years of CNC setup experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong math skills, and the ability to read verbal and written instructions. This Temp-to-Perm role offers a climate-controlled environment, a referral bonus, and access to state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Three years of CNC set up experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Intermediate math skills (algebra, geometry) and computer skills.
• Ability to learn CAD/CAM programs, G and M codes, GD&T, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation
• Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions
• Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results
• Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers
• Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance

Job description

Our client is seeking a CNC Set Up to join their team. As a CNC Set Up, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Set Up

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $20-24/hr

6:00am - 2:00pm

2:00pm - 10:00pm

10:00pm - 6:00am

Weekend shift 6:00am - 6:00pm

What's the Job?
