Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Set Up to join their Manufacturing Department in Oak Ridge, TN. You will load and adjust preset CNC programs and operate equipment to produce quality parts according to work instructions.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. This role offers day/evening/overnight and weekend shifts with competitive hourly pay and benefits after waiting period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to learn CAD/CAM programs, G and M codes, GD&T, and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Load and make minor adjustments to preset CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation.
• Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects during in-process inspection and record results.
• Perform basic machine adjustments such as offsets and setting tapers.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.

Our client is seeking a CNC Set Up to join their team. As a CNC Set Up, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Set Up

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Pay Range: $20-24/hr

Shift: Day, Evening, Overnight and Weekend Shift Available
