Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is hiring a full-time CNC Saw Operator to work at our Ellijay, GA facility. You will operate and maintain cutting equipment and ensure production targets are met while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates will measure quickly and accurately, have experience with steel pipes and beams, and be able to lift heavy objects. We offer weekly pay, competitive hourly wages, and benefits including 401k with company matching and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC saws and related cutting equipment.
• Ability to measure quickly and accurately.
• Experience with steel and materials such as pipes and beams.
• Familiarity with lift trucks and overhead cranes.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial CNC cutting equipment per work orders.
• Rig and operate lift trucks and overhead cranes.
• Identify and handle materials for cutting and processing.
• Assist foreman in meeting production targets.
• Maintain quality standards and a clean, safe work area.
• Notify management of non-conformities and needed repairs.
