Job summary

PTMW, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator for a full-time night shift in Topeka, Kansas. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, perform precise math, and program CNC routers with CAD/CAM software. Woodworking experience is a plus but not required.

You will load materials, inspect parts for quality, and maintain a clean, safe workstation while meeting production deadlines. Overtime may be required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in mathematics, including fractions, decimals, geometry, and basic trigonometry.
• Experience operating CNC router equipment in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• Ability to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC router machines per specs and blueprints.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to determine machine setup and production methods.
• Perform measurements and calculations to ensure part accuracy.
• Load materials, secure workpieces, and monitor machine for quality and efficiency.
• Make adjustments to tool paths and controls to maintain tolerances.
