Job summary

PTMW, Inc is seeking a competent CNC Machine Operator to join our PFAB team in Topeka, KS. You will set up and operate CNC machinery, read blueprints and drawings, and ensure parts meet specifications with close attention to detail.

Responsibilities include loading materials, performing measurements, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all safety procedures. Pre-employment background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with measuring devices (calipers, square, protractor).
• Strong math skills including fractions/decimals.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background, drug screen and physical capacity test.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into CNC machines.
• Set up and operate CNC machines per blueprints.
• Translate instructions into machine commands.
• Inspect finished parts and compare to specifications.
• Maintain machinery daily and keep work area clean.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist in other production areas as needed.
