Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure operation of CNC machines and related equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs per diagrams, manuals and engineering specs. The role requires hands-on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic work in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Certification from a qualified training institution in machine maintenance is ideal but not required.
• 2+ years of equipment maintenance in a machine shop environment is required.
• Experience with CNC repair and/or robotics is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office knowledge and/or Computerized Maintenance Management System is desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders, identify faulty equipment, and acquire parts to complete repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to CNC machinery.
• Complete upgrades, calibrations, and retrofits.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Comply with ISO and EH&S requirements.
