Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI seeks a Steel Processing Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC cutting and pressing equipment, robotics, and related systems. You will work with production teams and vendors to keep equipment in peak condition.

Candidates should have 2+ years of facilities or machine maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work all shifts, overtime, and follow procedural compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of facilities/machine maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Overtime and/or staying into a later shift may be required.
• Must be available to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components.
• Work primarily on CNC cutting/pressing equipment and robotics.
• Report to maintenance operations supervisor and coordinate with production and vendors.
• Follow procedural/compliance guidelines and maintain attention to detail.
