Job summary

Asama Coldwater Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support CNC/PLC/robotics maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires reading blueprints and diagrams, installing and aligning new equipment, and documenting work and parts used. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical ladder diagrams and motor control circuits.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, robotics, and other production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Read and work from blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Install, align, level, and support startup of new equipment.
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components and related systems.
• Record maintenance work performed, parts used, and repair costs.
