Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance and daily maintenance of equipment including robot welding, CNC HMC machines, SPMs and assembly machines etc. with limited guidance.Must have maintenance knowledge of these machines to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.Safely, professionally and efficiently, complete machine repairs and rebuilds per line-up and do documentationMust be able to support and participate in continuous improvement functions on the plant equipment, processes and demonstrate a spirit of teamwork and cooperation to improve overall plant OEE.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalentMust have a background Knowledge and skill set troubleshooting CNC HMC Mills (Makino / Moriseiki), robot welding, press assembly, compressors, hydraulics and facility general equipmentIndustrial maintenance mechanical hydraulic course completion / relevant experienceAbility to stand for long periods on shop floorAbility to lift and carry 50 poundsMust be able to train, assist, lead, direct, instruct and discipline employeesFirm understanding of safety regulations including MIOSHA and Government.Ability to work at a computer workstation using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong sense of time management and urgencyFamiliarity with government regulations for industry and safe work practices dealing with machine repairFamiliarity with complex machinery, electrical circuits, and plant operating equipmentMust have and maintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation and overall good work ethic while performing tasks in a safe mannerSkills in interpersonal relations and written and oral communicationsUnderstand the major components of CNC machines, welding robots and their function.
