Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Converting Assistant Rewinder Operator to join our Duncan, SC team. You will collaborate with the Machine Operator to learn essential machine operation skills and ensure products meet specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up rewinder equipment, monitoring production, and performing quality checks while supporting lean initiatives in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn essential machine operation skills under guidance of Machine Operator.
• Apply customer specifications to machine operation to meet requirements.
• Program and monitor operating panels, calculate core size, roll diameters, and perforation.
• Set up, operate, and adjust rewinder and downstream equipment to meet quotas.
• Perform hourly quality checks and submit daily QA reports.
