Job summary

Mindscope is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and improve CNC-driven manufacturing processes in Plainview, NY. The role emphasizes process optimization, quality control, and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to engineering leadership, you will manage projects from concept to launch, mentor production staff, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining documentation and CAD-based tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or university program certificate in manufacturing/related engineering field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments with CNC programming knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and systems
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget
• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment
