Job summary

Safecor Health seeks an experienced CNC Programmer / Tool and Die Maker to join our Engineering team. You will design, program, and repair tooling, set up CNC mills and grinders, read blueprints, and ensure tight tolerances in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have strong CAD/CAM proficiency, hands-on machining experience, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. This on-site role offers growth within a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, machine shop operations, and inspection methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience operating CNC and manual mills, lathes, and precision grinding equipment
• Ability to manufacture precision components with tolerances as tight as ±0.0003 inch
• Proficiency with CAD, CAM, CMMS, and Microsoft Office
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Design tooling and machine components using CAD.
• Develop CNC programs using CAM software and CNC controls.
• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, grinders, mills, and lathes.
• Perform repairs for production tooling and components.
• Collaborate with Production Control to evaluate tooling for batch records.
• Partner with Maintenance to address tooling requirements.
• Ensure machining equipment operates safely within tolerances.
• Maintain and align manual mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
