Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of advanced manufacturing experience including CAM.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of materials and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Programming (40%): Collaborate with engineers and CAD technician; use Mastercam to generate G-code; manage tool library and select tooling to optimize speeds/feeds.
• CNC Machine Operation (40%): Interpret blueprints/ CAD models; set up and calibrate CNC machines; perform in-process inspections with calipers/micrometers.
• Continuous Education (10%): Stay updated on CAD/CAM processes and tooling; explore new technologies and processes.
• Training (10%): Mentor Tooling Center Machinists to advance skills and understanding.
