Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team in Iowa. You will collaborate with Engineering to optimize tooling production from concept through completion, programming and operating CNC machines, and mentoring others in CAM practices.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and CAD models, using Mastercam to generate G-code, selecting tooling, setting speeds and feeds, and performing in-process inspections to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years of advanced manufacturing experience required.
• 3 years of verifiable CAM programming experience required.
• Associates degree or certification in CNC machining, precision machining, or manufacturing technology preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of advanced manufacturing experience with 3+ years CAM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and CAD technicians to improve tooling designs and processes.
• Use Mastercam to generate G-code for CNC operations.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for production runs.
• Mentor Tooling Center machinists and train team members.
• Maintain tooling library and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Identify process improvements and new technology opportunities.
