Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Programmer for the Starlink development team to drive milling programming and fabrication of electromechanical production systems. You will interpret engineering drawings, support tool development, and collaborate with engineering to accelerate product cycles.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical fabrication, ability to work with a wide range of equipment, and a commitment to safety and 5S practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical fabrication (component assembly, welding, machining, hand tools, etc.).
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and schematics; GD&T knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive CNC mill programming and operations to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Spearhead expansion of CNC capabilities to expedite product development cycles.
• Fabricate electromechanical production and test systems using a wide array of tools and equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and build instructions to complete assembly and fabrication processes.
