Job summary

Key duties include creating and maintaining part programs, reducing scrap, proposing tooling concepts, and generating standard work. Experience with Striker Systems, SolidWorks and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; manufacturing tech degree preferred.
• Experience with forming tools for turret presses and press brakes; M- and G-codes.
• Familiar with sheet metal design and programming; Striker Systems or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains part programs for sheet metal components.
• Generates tooling concepts and reduces cycle times.
• Documents standard work and process information for routings and BOM.
• Collaborates with Production Control, QA, and customers to meet schedules.
• Supports prototyping and product improvements.
