Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist in Northwest Iowa to join our CNC Department. The role covers advanced CNC programming, machine setup and operation, tooling/fixture management, and providing technical leadership to the production team.

The ideal candidate has strong CNC programming and machining experience, is proficient in Mastercam or similar software, and can troubleshoot processes while supporting and training other machinists.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC programming and machining experience is required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; die casting or metalworking a plus.
• Proficiency with Mastercam or similar CNC programming software.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Create, edit, optimize, and maintain CNC programs.
• Utilize Mastercam or similar CAM software to develop CNC programs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Manage CNC program documentation, revisions, and related records.
• Select, manage, and maintain cutting tools, tooling, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot machining processes and make adjustments to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Perform machine setups and verify tooling, fixtures, offsets, and program accuracy.
• Inspect machined components to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Train, mentor, and provide technical support to other machinists.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve machining issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

CNC Programmer / Machinist

My client in Northwest Iowa is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to join our CNC Department. • Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

• Ability to train and support other team members.

• English proficiency required; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Pay Details:

$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
