Job summary

Plasser American is seeking an experienced CNC programmer to write programs for new jobs, update existing tooling, and ensure programs meet the latest revisions and tooling standards. The role is based in Chesapeake and requires rigor in documenting and validating tooling changes.

With 4–6 years of related experience and knowledge of Mastercam and Inventor preferred, you will help eliminate scrap, minimize unsafe movements, and contribute to quality manufacturing processes in a dynamic team

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Mastercam and knowledge of Inventor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write CNC programs using latest revisions or blueprints and incorporate the newest tooling which requires updating older programs to double check all programs for errors.
• Eliminate scrap and unsafe machine movements.
