Mazak Corporation seeks a skilled CNC programmer to join the FMF team in Florence, KY. You will convert engineering drawings and solid models into complete CNC programs, tooling plans, and prove-out support, while ensuring safe, accurate, and production-ready processes.

You will work closely with machinists and quality to prevent defects, optimize toolpaths, and drive cycle-time improvements. The role requires reading GD&T, setting up fixtures, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to

Competenze

3+ years of CNC programming experience.
Proficient with Mastercam and Mazatrol.
Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.

Mansioni

Develop CNC programs from drawings and specifications; determine sequence, tooling, speeds and feeds.
Verify toolpaths, offsets, clearances and machine limits to prevent collisions and part damage.
Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, fixtures, and program notes; support during setup and prove-out.
Lead or support first-piece prove-out and release programs after meeting quality and production requirements.
Interpret drawings and inspection requirements; coordinate with Quality/Engineering to resolve discrepancies.
Improve machining efficiency through better toolpaths and parameters while protecting quality and tool life.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Tooling and Maintenance for manufacturability and scheduling.
