Job summary

AGRU America, Inc. seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to safely maintain, repair, test and program CNC machines for plastic products. You will interpret drawings, assist with quotes for CNC purchases, and help ensure proper mold fit.

The role involves setting up various machines and collaborating with maintenance, operators, and quality control. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of CNC experience, can read blueprints, and possess a certificate in CNC programming.

Qualifications

CNC programming experience and proficiency.
Able to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
Familiar with CAD tools and precision machining standards.

Responsibilities

Ensures CNC components and tooling are in safe working order and maintained.
Works with management, maintenance, operators and quality control to solve machining issues.
Develops machining templates and standard procedures; interprets drawings and blueprints.
Creates CAD drawings from ideas for new product development and tooling.
Researches and quotes pricing for CNC tooling and components; processes PO requests.
Operates mills, lathes, grinding machines, and fabricating equipment safely.
Builds and aligns molding fixtures and components with mold cavities.
Receives and communicates safety, machining needs, and timelines to management.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
